What will I learn?

Biological Sciences is the key science of the 21st century. It brings together ideas, techniques and information from all areas of biology – from ecology to the molecular sciences. This programme allows you to pursue your own areas of specific interest and to have an appreciation of the full range of the subject. However, should you decide sometime in the first two years that you wish to specialise, you can transfer to a number of programmes in the School of Life Sciences. This programme is available with a Year in China. The Year in China allows undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLU's BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China please put the option code YC in the Further Choices section of your UCAS application form.
