The Brazil Institute offers supervision for MPhil research degrees relating to Brazil and draws on academic expertise in a range of disciplinary departments across the College. Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in the United States of America will be considered. Grades may vary depending upon the course chosen.

For international students

A Masters degree is usually required. In exceptional circumstances only, an undergraduate degree with 1st Class or high 2:1 honours degree will be considered. Overseas students will be required to demonstrate IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill. TOEFL iBT score of 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills.
