What will I learn?

Our BA/BSc Computer Science (with Integrated Foundation Year) is a four year degree programme, including a foundation year to help develop your creativity before you embark on year one of a degree.Develop advanced software building skills and become a vital resource for employers across the creative industries and beyond on UCAs new BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree. This in-depth technical degree, taught at UCA Farnham, is designed to help you become adept at building programmes for a growing range of digital platforms.You’ll gain the fundamental technical skills in software programming and development for contemporary environments, whether this is on a local device, on the web, or utilising Cloud technologies. And you’ll do this through predominantly hands-on learning, together with accompanying contextual and theoretical lectures and seminars.Your studies will culminate in an exhibition of work developed during the year and a major project, based on your own interests.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students need to have one of the following: US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus SAT scores (if taken in 2016 or later) of 1160 or better; US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus SAT scores (if taken before 2016) of 1600 or better; US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus two or three Advanced Placement tests with scores of 3 or better; US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus ACT scores of 24 or better.
