What will I learn?

Turning a building design into a completed project takes a huge amount of work. You have to carefully manage experts from a range of professions and trades, and liaise with clients, end users and designers to make sure it all goes smoothly. This course aims to give you the skills to take a project to completion, on time and on budget.

Construction is a global industry, and we want to give you the skills to be able to make your mark in your chosen profession.

Why study Construction Project Management
We’ll help you develop an understanding of what goes into global construction at each stage of a project, so we’ll cover the client’s initial brief through to design, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance of built assets.
We’ll give you the chance to work on your leadership skills, and we’ll introduce you to Lean Construction and Building Information Modelling (BIM) with insights from world-leading practitioners and academics.
Opportunities to work collaboratively with students across other courses in Architecture and Built Environment may give you experience and understanding in how to work in multidisciplinary teams.
