What will I learn?

**This degree in cybernetics focuses on the area of computer engineering known as the Internet of Things, smart interconnected devices and intelligent systems embedded in the world around us.**This cybernetics degree covers the fundamentals of engineering but will also give you specialist knowledge in areas such as sensors and networks, artificial intelligence for engineering systems, control and instrumentation, and user-centred design.You should graduate with the capabilities to become a pioneer and innovator in the field of cybernetics. You'll have the knowledge and skills for careers in technology, engineering and computing, particularly in the field of emerging technologies. Entry requirements

For students from United States

For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following: High School Diploma (GPA 3.0) OR with GED with a minimum grade of 165; SAT (Pre-March 2016 -1650/ Post-March 2016 -1100)or ACT - 24 or higher or AP-3 or above in 2 advanced placement tests. Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history. If you have completed an Associate Degree in the US, you might be able to transfer directly onto year 2 of our Bachelor's programmes. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. For some undergraduate courses, you need: IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. For many of our extended degree programmes, you will need: IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
