What will I learn?

Our primary objective is to provide internationally competitive research projects, producing highly skilled and competitive postgraduates with excellent future career e department welcomes applications from students interested in undertaking research towards attainment of a higher degree. To meet this goal the department offers students a high level of expertise and support in a variety of research subjects. The programme aims to offer knowledge, training and expertise for a career in clinical or scientific research. Students will work in critical mass groupings, providing a highly interactive research environment, with a high level of technical support and research facilities and laboratories that ensure optimal research training.

Entry requirements

For international students

For non-clinical research programmes we require a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall (with no less than 5.5 in any of the 4 sub sections) or equivalent qualification. For clinical programmes we require a minimum IELTS score of 7 overall (with a minimum score of 6 in each of the four sub-sections).
