What will I learn?

Our BA (Hons) Digital Art (with Integrated International Foundation Year) is a four year course, specifically designed to provide international students with the English language and creative skills before they embark on year one of a degree.We'll challenge you to push boundaries and bridge the gap between film and fine art on our BA (Hons) Digital Art degree course.Taught at UCA Farnham, you will explore the creative possibilities of moving image, photography and digital practices, and create work that responds to social, political, and cultural developments.We’ll teach you digital production skills and encourage you to work with curiosity, take risks, explore concepts and reflect critically on others’ work, as well as your own.You’ll graduate with broad transferable skills that prepare you for a future in the creative industries – our graduates stand out because of their wide range of skills and ability to think beyond the boundaries of film.The course has produced distinguished alumni and award-winners including Will McGregor, director of the BBC series Poldark, and His Dark Materials.You have the option to complete a Professional Practice Year as part of this course. This will give you the opportunity to develop your professional, academic and personal potential, equipping you to be confident and engaged in creative workplaces. Employers widely recognise these qualities, and a significant proportion of placement students are offered graduate-level jobs or go onto postgraduate study.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students need to have one of the following: US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus SAT scores (if taken in 2016 or later) of 1160 or better; US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus SAT scores (if taken before 2016) of 1600 or better; US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus two or three Advanced Placement tests with scores of 3 or better; US High School Diploma with GPA 3.0 or better, plus ACT scores of 24 or better; US Associates Degree; a transcript showing completion of one year of a Bachelor's degree from a recognised American university.
