The aim of this programme is to equip students with the creative, technical and entrepreneurial skills and attributes to be proactive digital strategists, designers and developers able to both service existing practice and influence emerging digital practice. Principles of narrative through user journey, either on devices or through campaign strategies, will be a fundamental part of the programme and its technical underpinning will be combined with key design and production skills, and exposure to current practices and issues in the creative industries sector. The programme structure will develop individuals over the 3 years of study with a benchmarked provision of learning, reflection and development from fundamental (Level 4) to industry engaged (L6). The programme will offer development in specialist technology skills for digital design, together with intellectually stimulating content related to human-computer interaction, usability design, and the psychology of interaction design. The ethos of the programme will be to actively engage and encourage the use and deployment of existing and emerging learning technologies and channels, and will be forward thinking in its development of teaching styles, curriculum content, and engagement with industry partners via live briefs and collaborative opportunities
