Entry requirements

For students from United States

A four year bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 2.7. Bachelor degree requirement: 2.1 (for direct entry) with GPA 3.2; 2.2 (for direct entry) with GPA 2.7; Pass guide (for a pre-master's course) with GPA 2.0. IELTS 6.0-7.0 overall with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking (see individual course details).

For international students

Specific entry requirements - This MA course attracts students from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities, normally graduates with a recognised teaching qualification, or other educational professional experience. Applicants should have: a good honours degree; relevant professional experience. Entry with credit - Credit for the award can be made up of appropriate work completed outside the course, for example, M level credit from PGCE awards or Postgraduate Certificate courses in relevant subject areas. English language requirements - IELTS level 6.5 or above with a minimum of 6.0 in reading and writing and 5.5 in speaking and listening.
