For students from United States

Students should have a Bachelor’s degree with GPA 2.8 for courses requiring a 2:2 classification, and GPA 3.2 for courses requiring a 2:1 classification. Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

For international students

2:1 Hons in a relevant degree, not necessarily in education, but a good practical knowledge of education is required. applicants with a 2:2 and considerable experience in education will be considered on a case by case basis. Students need to have an IELTS score of2:1 Hons in a relevant degree, not necessarily in education, but a good practical knowledge of education is required. 6.5 or equivalent. If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent when you start the course is essential.
