What will I learn?

Electronic engineers design, develop, test, and oversee the creation of anything from drones and electric cars to the technology in smartphones, sat navs and systems in hospitals.Our course offers you many different ways to develop your understanding of electronics. You'll work on lab-based projects, work individually and in small teams. You'll learn to project manage and bring your technical knowledge to problem solve different situations.During your second year, you can study at either our China or Malaysia campus where you will have the opportunity to experience differing cultures. The curriculum is exactly the same as that of the UK and all teaching is in English. Your year will be spent studying core modules, and depending on the subject specialisms you have selected, appropriate optional modules.With the ever-changing developments in technology, you will graduate with the confidence to create, understand and develop electrical control systems of the future.All our electrical and electronic courses have the same content in year one and two so by year three, you can choose to specialise in the topics that interest you.As a BEng graduate, there are many options available to you. You can choose to register with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer or progress to Chartered Engineer status.Our course will give you with the required engineering expertise for either a career in industry or in a variety of other professions.
