What will I learn?

We’ve worked with commercial energy specialists to ensure this master's degree prepares you for a rewarding career in this fast-growing sector. You'll develop the skills to study the impact of using fossil fuels on the environment, and to develop alternative sustainable energy solutions.

Our distinctive modules in bioenergy, waste, energy and climate change will give you a key understanding of current issues.

Professional bodies: Accreditation of European Engineering Programmes (EUR-ACE)|Civil Engineers, Institution of|Structural Engineers, Institution of|The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation|Highway Engineers, Institute of (IHE).

Entry requirements

For international students

A UK bachelor’s degree with upper second-class honours or higher in engineering, mathematics, science, technology, geography, environmental science, transportation engineering/management or civil engineering. English language: Band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components.
