This programme will help you develop a wide range of engineering skills to help prepare you for the exciting world of modern engineering. Subjects cover the underpinning maths and science as well as exploring the core skills required for 21st century engineers such as materials, CAD, project management, automation and robotics, programming, design, workshop practices and research/development. This programme offers an excellent way to study towards a degree level course in Engineering with all the benefits of staying local with small class sizes and the close support of industry and educationally experienced lecturers. Students also benefit from academic and pastoral 1:1 tutorials, directed self-study and assignment workshops. The HND is 2 years full-time and you will complete the HNC during the first year of students.You can also complete the HNC two years part-time (fees and information on request).
