What will I learn?

**Course Overview**- Develop the tricks and techniques to produce short stories, poetry and play scripts on our English Language and Creative Writing Foundation Entry course.- Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honours programme. It’s a great stepping stone to a full degree.- You’ll have a lot of choice on this course. On the Language side, there are modules to suit any interest – from language structure to the teaching of language, language and gender and forensic linguistics.- You could also choose to specialise in the related areas of media, forensic and political discourse, or the nuts and bolts of language by choosing syntax, phonology and morphology. Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students need to have High School Diploma plus SAT 1550 from 'Critical Reading', 'Math' and 'Writing' (before March 2016) OR SAT 1130 from 'Evidence Based Reading and Writing' and 'Math' (after March 2016) OR ACT Composite Score 22 and two SAT Subject Tests at 600 each OR Two Preferred Advanced Placements (APs) with grades 3, 3. OR (if no SAT or ACT) - Three SAT Subject Tests with grades 600 each OR Three Preferred Advanced Placements (APs) with grade 3, 3, 3.
