The MA by Research in History of Art is an advanced research degree consisting of original research and engagement with current scholarship. It is awarded on the basis of successful completion of an individual research thesis of 40000 words and an oral examination.

Entry requirements

For international students

Entry requirements 2:1 undergraduate degree in History of Art. IELTS overall score of 7.0 minimum component scores of two at 6.0/6.5 and the rest at 7.0 or above. Students need to have: Overall Score of 100 (Reading 22 Listening 21 Speaking 23 Writing 21);
