Our innovative MA Human Resource Management for Creative Industries degree offers a unique opportunity to specialise within human resources, tailoring your skills to better suit this dynamic sector of the economy.

This course, taught at the unique Business School for the Creative Industries at UCA Epsom, provides the appropriate knowledge and skills to thrive within a creative industries’ organisational context, and thus improve management and leadership within the sector.

You will become a reflective practitioner, developing the capacity to manage your own learning and development, and enhance your own skills in critical enquiry, logical thought, creative imagination and independent judgement.

You will also develop and consolidate informed professional and ethical competence across a range of subject specialisms relevant to the contemporary practitioner.

This course is ideal for those HR professionals seeking a more specialised route into creative industries, including gaming, fashion or publishing.


The UCA Business School for the Creative Industries, based at our Epsom campus, is the first of its kind in the UK. There’s dedicated studios and study areas, digital media suites equipped with Macs and PCs which are programmed with specialist software including Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver and After Effects. There’s a modern library with a wealth of books and thanks to its location, many collaborative opportunities with students from other courses.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students need to have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised American university with GPA 3.0.

For international students

Students need to have an honours degree or equivalent qualification in the subject or a related discipline and/or relevant work experience, demonstrating your ability to study at postgraduate level. Students should have overall IELTS score 6.5 (no component below 5.5); an overall TOEFL score of at least 90, and sub-tests not less than 20 in Reading, 21 in Writing, 19 in Listening and 23 in Speaking.
