What will I learn?

The Innovation and Enterprise MRes is a pre-doctoral training programme designed to provide a critical, research-led approach to the study of innovation and enterprise. The programme will provide advanced training in research skills needed for doctoral-level study in business innovation.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students need to have a holders of a bachelor degree, from an accredited institution, with a good grade point average (3.2 or above), majoring in a subject relevant to the degree being applied for (with the exception of conversion masters courses) will be considered for postgraduate study. This will normally be a postgraduate diploma or a taught master’s degree (usually one year in duration). Entry requirement varies from coursewise. Applicants for PhD study should preferably hold a masters degree with high marks. IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall including 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking. TOEFL: 92 overall including 21 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking. IELTS, TOEFL score vary from schools.

For international students

Students need to have a 1st class degree at undergraduate level in any subject. A satisfactory research proposal that fits with research interests of staff in the School of Business and Management is also required. Students need to have an IELTS 7.0 overall including 6.0 in Writing, and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking. TOEFL: 100 overall including 21 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking.
