What will I learn?


The International Foundation Programme Engineering pathway will provide you with a basic foundation for further studies and the skills required to progress on to an undergraduate degree in Engineering. This programme is run across 3 semesters and is designed to prepare you for degree-level study in the UK. You will learn about different engineering concepts, the principles of mechanics and the mathematical knowledge required to develop both the theoretical and practical applications of engineering. In addition to the engineering specialism modules, the programme also provides a solid grounding in the core knowledge and skills recognised to prepare you for future study.

Upon successfully passing this programme (subject to progression requirements), you will be guaranteed a place on one of our engineering undergraduate degrees.

Full Time (9 months)

Tuition fees
£18250 for 9 months. The tuition fees do not include the cost of course books that you may choose to purchase, stationery, printing and photocopying, accommodation, living expenses, travel or any other extracurricular activities. Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students need to have Good High School Grades, or equivalent; 5 GCSE/IGCSE passes at A-C, or equivalent. IELTS 5.0 (5.5 for students progressing on to Law) with no single element below 4.0, or equivalent.

For international students

Applicants should have the following: Academic requirements GCSE/iGCSE – 5 passes at A-C English language requirements: Students require IELTS 4.5 with no single element below 4.0, or equivalent, from a UKVI Approved centre
