Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants are expected to achieve AAA at A level, including a grade A in Mathematics or Further Mathematics. The International Baccalaureate requirement is 6,6,6 at Higher Level, including Mathematics, with a minimum of 32 points overall. BTEC qualifications are only considered when combined with other qualifications. Three A levels are required in total, with Mathematics or Further Mathematics at grade A as a compulsory subject. Alternative offers may be made for students taking additional qualifications: for example, while STEP examinations are not required, applicants achieving a grade 2 or better in a STEP paper may receive a reduced offer of AAB including an A in Mathematics or Further Mathematics; similarly, students undertaking an EPQ and achieving a grade A may also receive a reduced offer of AAB with an A in Mathematics or Further Mathematics. A-level General Studies is not accepted, although a grade A in this subject may be considered if the overall offer is not met.
