At Kent, you study all aspects of mechanical engineering, from 3D design to advanced manufacturing, control and mechatronic to advanced robotics and fluid dynamics to thermodynamic and heat transfer, preparing you for a career in any branch of mechanical engineering.If you dont have the right grades to enrol directly on to our BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree, you could opt to start your studies with our Foundation year. The extra year is intended to give you the best possible preparation for success on the degree pathway.

Typical A level offer DDD Typical IB offer 72 tariff points from your IB Diploma, including maths at 4 at HL or SL typically H4, H4, H4 or equivalent BTEC Nationals DDM IELTS - 5.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) TOEFL iBT - 72 overall (with a minimum of 18 in R; 17 in W&L; 20 in S)
