Our MSc takes a psychosocial approach to mental health, exploring how individual, social, and cultural contexts shape wellbeing and experiences of distress. Whether you’re just starting out in the field or already working in mental health and want to broaden your knowledge, this course is designed to support your development. You’ll engage with the core competencies of practitioner psychologists - such as assessment, formulation, and critical evaluation - while exploring a wide range of therapeutic models and approaches appropriate for implementation across a breadth mental health settings and a wide range of related roles. You’ll also learn how to reflect on your own practice and maintain your wellbeing as a professional.
