What will I learn?

The MSc Finance provides you with the opportunity to study in the heart of London, close to one of the world’s premier financial centres with highly dynamic firms operating in Banking, Insurance, FinTech, and the financial services ecosystem.

The School of Finance and Management is excited to continue its collaboration with Practera, building on the success of the previous SFM Virtual Industry Projects. These bespoke work-based learning projects are designed to grow your professional skills and network through working with a team of SOAS students to tackle a real-world business challenge.

Fees go up each year, therefore, your tuition fee in your second & subsequent years of study will be higher. Our continuing students, on the same degree programme, are protected from annual increases higher than 5%.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants with bachelor’s degree equivalent to 2:ii: CGPA: 55-60% or 5.5/10 - 6.0/10 from a good university will be considered for entry. Students whose first language is not English need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in all subscores. TOEFL IBT - 95 overall with 23 in writing, 20 in other subscores.
