Pre-Master's for Law and Social Sciences

For entry to a postgraduate degree at the University of Glasgow. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent).

All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students need successful completion of an undergraduate degree or diploma (Grades and relevant background requirements vary dependent on the university degree and pathway course), bachelor's degree from the United Kingdom with minimum Second Class, Second Division (subject to university approval). Students need IELTS 5.0 (at least 5.0 in all skills).
