Writtle’s full range of Higher and Further Education courses will continue to be delivered on site at the new ARU Writtle campus, enhanced by resources available at nearby ARU Chelmsford If you are starting your course in September 2024, your degree will be awarded by ARU. Find out more about ARU, including our recent Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework, at www.aru.ac.ukStudying for a degree with an integrated foundation year will offer you a supportive environment if you have been out of education for a few years or do not have the necessary UCAS points from your recent course of study.The foundation year (Year 0) will precede our standard 3-year degree course programmes and enables preparation for degree study, with successful completion granting direct access to the undergraduate course of your choice at Writtle University College.This combined sport and education-focussed award is aimed at those wishing to combine their passion for Sport with the development of teaching and coaching skills. Many of our sport and exercise science graduates have gone on to become teachers at secondary schools via a post-graduate SCITT route. The BSc (Hons) Sports Science with Education has been tailored to meet the needs and prepare students for such a career pathway.
