What will I learn?

Gain a solid foundation for continuing intellectual growth and further professional studies leading to a career in nursing or other health science-related fields by earning an Associate of Science in Human Biology (AS-HB) degree. Associate of Science in Biology students planning to transition into a bachelor’s degree or other health-related field should check program requirements prior to completing the AS-HB.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

High school graduates transferring from regionally accredited colleges and universities are admitted as degree students if their cumulative GPA is 2.0 or higher.

For international students

Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.0. ACT/ SAT recommended.

TOEFL score - 70 (IBT); IELTS score - 5.5, with no band lower than a 5; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTEA) – 50; International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) – 5; Certificate of Proficiency in English with a C grade or higher; Certificate of Advanced English with a C grade or higher.
