What will I learn?

The nutrition and wellness specialty provides students with an understanding of the role of exercise and nutrition in overall wellness. Graduates are prepared to work in nutrition and wellness positions in fitness centers, community and public health settings, nutrition marketing, product development, and consumer affairs. With the epidemic growth of obesity and related illnesses, graduates of the specialty will have multiple employment opportunities.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have earned a diploma from an accredited high school, but never attended a college or university before (other than ESL). English Language Requirements: TOEFL (Internet based) - 71, TOEFL (Paper based) - 55, TOEFL (Computerized) - 197; IELTS - 6; Cambridge English (Advanced) - Minimum grade C; ELS Completion Level 112; APIEL 3.

For international students

Students with high school or equivalent degrees. Grade Point Average requirements: Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

English Language Requirements:

TOEFL (iBT) – 71, TOEFL (Computerized) – 197, IELTS – 6, Cambridge English (Advanced) - Minimum grade C.
