What will I learn?

We live in an increasingly interconnected world. Professionals in business, economics, government, human services and other fields work frequently across borders to address the challenges that face our global community. In this program, you will learn about international political, economic and social issues, become proficient in a foreign language, and develop expertise in a region of the globe that interests you. You will also spend at least 12 weeks abroad immersed in an international culture. Students can concentrate their studies on international relations, global resources and development, or international economics and business.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have 2.5 on a 4.0 GPA scale is required from secondary school. They must meet criteria for admission to university level study in home country. They should also satisfy the following English language requirements:

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 525 on the paper test or 70 on the Internet-based test
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 6.0
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic score of 48
  • ELS Language Centers, pass of Level 112
  • Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English), pass
  • Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), pass
  • Cambridge International "O" Levels, pass
  • English proficiency demonstration is waived for any applicant who has a previous degree at an accredited U.S. institution
