What will I learn?

Explore family and relationship dynamics across the lifespan and learn how to help teens, adults, couples, families and older adults lead better, more fulfilling lives. In this program, students will explore patterns of individual development and family functioning, including how contextual factors influence social-emotional, physical and cognitive development and behavior.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

A 2.5 on a 4.0 Grade Point Average scale is required from your secondary school. You must meet criteria for admission to university-level study in your home country.

For international students

Students must have 2.5 on a 4.0 GPA scale is required from secondary school. They must meet criteria for admission to university level study in home country. They should also satisfy the following English language requirements:

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 525 on the paper test or 70 on the Internet-based test
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 6.0
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic score of 48
  • ELS Language Centers, pass of Level 112
  • Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English), pass
  • Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), pass
  • Cambridge International "O" Levels, pass
  • English proficiency demonstration is waived for any applicant who has a previous degree at an accredited U.S. institution
