According to The National Center for Education Statistics, as of 2015, more than 892,000 students in Texas schools were English-language learners. In addition, the U.S. Department of Education identifies bilingual educators as “high demand” professionals in Texas.

These graduates are now teachers in general and bilingual education settings in numerous local independent school districts, including Deer Park, Houston, Clear Creek, Galena Park, Goose Creek, Alvin and Pasadena.

Applicants who have attended an institution located outside the United States must: Possess the equivalent of a U.S. high school/secondary diploma.

For international students

Applicants who have attended an institution located outside the United States must: Possess the equivalent of a U.S. high school/secondary diploma.

Proof of English Language Proficiency

Your minimum scores must be: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; 79 on the TOEFL (iBT) exam; 6.0 on the IELTS exam, 53 on the PTE exam; or, You can successfully complete level 112 in the ELS Intensive English Language program.
