What will I learn?

Courses in the mathematics degree program are offered in person by our highly qualified faculty. The curriculum adheres to the standards of the Mathematical Association of America and relates to students interested in professional or graduate programs. With a minor in education, students may meet the requirements to obtain an Arkansas teachers license for mathematics.

The Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics requires a total of 120 hours. A few of the courses in this program include the following:

For students from United States

Students must have official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university.

For international students

Students must have official transcripts and marks from your high school or college/university. We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all incoming freshmen Students.

Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)

A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL

A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL

A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL

A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS

A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)

A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo (Accepting Temporarily)
