What Will I Learn?

You will learn how to reach Spanish-speaking audiences through television, radio and online podcasts. While proficiency in Spanish is required to enroll, you will take Spanish courses to perfect your language skills and learn about Hispanic and Latin American culture. Courses in audio and video production as well as communication theory will give you the knowledge and skills to succeed.

Learn hands-on in our TV and radio studios using industry-standard equipment. Our three media outlets let you get experience broadcasting to a real audience in both on- and off-camera roles.

The study of a foreign language, its literature and culture expands your cultural horizon, sharpens your linguistic skills, and offers you the excitement of intercultural communication. For international students

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.

Minimum English proficiency requirements for admission through the English Bridge Program:

PTE (Pearson Test of English): >45

Freshmen are encouraged to submit their applications for the fall semester by Dec. 1 and spring semester applicants by Nov. 1.
