The Oklahoma State University undergraduate Sports Media program is the largest stand-alone sports media program in the world with more than 215 annual majors and declared pre-majors. In this program, you will have a balance of theory and hands-on training in the classroom. All faculty members in the OSU Sports Media program possess extensive experience in the industry.

In this program, you will have a balance of theory and hands-on training in the classroom. Your learning is not confined to the classroom, as several of our student organizations allow you to gain practical experience though such activities as sports play-by-play announcing and working behind the scenes on live sports telecasts.

Courses to expect for this major include Sports and the Media, Sports Public Relations, Electronic Sports Reporting, and Sports Announcing.

International students qualify for assured admission if they meet the following criteria: English-language proficiency exams: iBT TOEFL Score: 61+ or IELTS Academic Score 5.5+ and; High School GPA 3.0+ (based on a 4.0 scale).
