Because a huge part of learning how to teach is actually doing it, you’ll spend several weeks working alongside a secondary teacher, followed by 16 weeks of student teaching. At graduation, you’ll feel confident in yourself, both as an educator and journalism expert. You'll also take several education courses within Ball State’s nationally renowned Teachers College, where you’ll learn about classroom management, diversity education, education reform, education psychology, and more.
