The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance from Wichita State’s Barton School of Business combines its AACSB-accredited program with the unmatched opportunities for applied learning and internships found in Kansas’ largest city. You’ll start by studying the fundamentals of finance from accounting to investments. You’ll also choose from advanced courses, based on your interests and career goals, in addition to completing core business courses.

The BBA in finance degree also offers a real-estate emphasis (the only one found at a Kansas regents’ university) for students interested in commercial banking, real estate asset management, real estate investment analysis or corporate real estate management.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students are required to have TOEFL score of 530 on paper based; have PTE Academic score of 49.

For international students

Students are required to complete high school (or will soon graduate from high school) are eligible to apply.

All international undergraduate students at Wichita State University are required to demonstrate proficiency in English before beginning full-time academic study. English proficiency may be demonstrated in the following ways:

Obtain a TOEFL score of 530 or higher on the paper-based test;

Obtain a TOEFL score of 72 or higher on the Internet-based test;

Obtain an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher;

Obtain a PTE Academic score of 49 or higher;

Obtain an SAT-I verbal score of 410 or higher;

Obtain an ACT English section score of 20 or higher;

Obtain a score of 80 or higher on the WSU English Proficiency Examination;

Successfully complete the highest level of the WSU Intensive English Language Center;

Have 24 or more transferable semester credit hours from another U.S. college or university; or

Successfully complete Level 112 at the ELS Language Center.
