The Bachelor of Business Administration/Master of Business Administration is an accelerated program which allows Loyola University Chicago undergraduate business students to earn the two respective degrees in a slightly shorter period of time than by completing each separately. The program allows students to take up to two MBA courses in their senior year of undergraduate work. Completion of the MBA degree program requires 12 courses. Additionally, a prerequisite of calculus is required, but may be waived if previously completed with a grade of “B” or higher, or may be taken at Quinlan as part of the MBA degree. The program requires a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.2 in order for a student to be eligible for consideration. Students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 do not need to take the GMAT.
Our Master of Science in Finance program will provide you with specialized knowledge of financial securities, financial markets, risk metrics, investment criteria, capital budgeting techniques and hedging strategies.
You will also have general modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to write computer programs, work with databases, simulate outcomes, perform regression analysis, and solve constrained optimization problems.
