What will I learn?

Stretch yourself further with combined bachelor's and master's degrees in kinesiology at UNT. The grad track Kinesiology program at the University of North Texas provides students with an in-depth understanding of the professional literature, trends and research being conducted in kinesiology, health promotion, and recreation. You'll earn an undergrad degree and a master's in less time.The Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation offers a grad track option for existing UNT undergraduate students majoring in kinesiology. In this grad track option, the student can take a maximum of twelve hours of graduate courses while completing the BS degree. These credits will be counted toward both the BS and MS degrees.The primary purposes of the program in kinesiology are to provide students with an understanding of basic research methodology to acquaint students with the professional literature, trends and research being conducted in kinesiology and to enable students to develop a concentration in exercise physiology, sport and exercise psychology, sport pedagogy/physical education, or sport pedagogy with physical education certification.

Entry requirements

For international students

Beginning freshman from international high school:- Graduation from a high school recognized by the home country ministry of education, Official transcripts/diplomas (in native language and English) showing all courses and marks of final three years of secondary school Students with a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.25 or higher are guaranteed admission to UNT. Students' GPAs will be standardized on a 4.0 GPA scale once transcripts are submitted. Beginning freshman from U.S. high school:- Minimum of three years and graduation from an accredited high school in the U.S., Official transcripts, showing rank in class through at least junior year, plus graduation date, U.S. graduates only. Send SAT or ACT scores
