Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) in Biology Education

USA

What will I learn?

Teaching biology is often a hands-on experience. When you join us at DSU, prepare to get your hands a little dirty, wet, or wrapped around a microscope. Because we believe you can't teach science unless you've done science. Our Biology Education major is offered on campus.

Integrated technology

With DSU’s technical focus, you’ll be prepared to teach with the latest classroom technology. You’ll use computer simulations to demonstrate biological systems and get familiar with one-to-one technology. You’ll be fully prepared to teach biology in a digital environment.

All of our education graduates receive a K-12 educational technology endorsement. It's built right into the degree. This means our teachers not only know how to integrate technology into their classrooms, but they can teach computer classes at elementary, middle and high school levels.
