The Physical Activity and Fitness Management (PAFM) program at SRU gives you advanced knowledge in physical activity, fitness, and wellness, and the guidance to apply your expertise in the real world.

We're looking for motivated, highly energized students to explore untapped areas in the emerging field of wellness. The PAFM program will prepare you to plan, implement, and evaluate physical activity programs. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to help people get active and stay healthy.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Through the PAFM program at SRU, you'll gain knowledge and skills in areas like adapted physical activity, aquatics, outdoor adventure fitness, coaching education, and fitness management. You'll also be trained to work with the most current health apps and technologies.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations.

International applicants who have not enrolled in any post-secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations.

English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
