What will I learn?

The Master of Science in Education, Instructional Design and Technology (MSEd IDT) program provides teachers, administrators, training developers, and instructional designers in the fields of education, public and private organizations as well as government agencies, the knowledge and skills to carry out instructional design plans. Focused coursework offers practice in program analyses, design utilizing current trends and issues in educational technology, best strategies in implementation, engagement in effective technology-enhanced instruction, and skills to evaluate and manage the ISD process.

Demonstrate theory-based and practical leadership in online education in K-12, higher education, corporate training, and related fields
Put critical thinking, scholarly writing, research, and technology in practice
Design and assess online curriculum and instruction for student success
Direct educational operations related to instructional design including analysis, design, development of instructional materials, implementation, all assessment all with an emphasis on innovative technology-related procedures and practices
Exhibit competency in professional practices including ethics, diversity, legal issues, and communication with all educational stakeholders
Communicate effectively in writing through organizing, thinking critically, and sharing ideas and information in documents and presentations.

Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Going beyond the MS in Education in Instructional Design and Technology programs other schools offer, Keiser’s MSEd IDT is perfect for classroom teachers, training development professionals, aspiring administrators, corporate trainers, and any other professional interested in providing a more-effective learning process.

The applicant must present a TOEFL score of 500 or higher on a paper-based examination, a score of 173 on a computer-based examination, an internet-based score (iBT) of 61, or an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher.
