Entry requirements

For students from United States

Bachelor’s Degree – You must hold a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution, or an approved international equivalent. Grade Point Average – You must have a minimum overall grade point average of 2.75 (4.00=A) for your bachelor’s degree, or a minimum 3.00 (4.00=A) for the last two years (60 semester hours).

For international students

Hold a master's degree in education or in a field related to education.

Have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in all graduate-level course work.

English Proficiency Requirement:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Minimum score: 6.5; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (Paper-based) Minimum score: 74; (Computer-based) Minimum score: 213; (Internet-based) Minimum score: 80. Michigan Test of English Language Placement (MTELP) - Minimum score: 85; Pearson Test of English (PTE)- Minimum score: 65.

Application Deadline: Jan. 15 (For GA consideration); May 1 (Final Deadline) for fall semester; Oct. 1 for spring semester; Mar. 1 for summer semester.
