What will I learn?

The B.S. in Business degree with a major in General Business incorporates a select set of junior and senior level courses from all major areas in Business that will provide students with an arsenal of knowledge in multiple functional areas of Business.

Careers

The student who earns this degree may have an interest in many different jobs or in continuing into specialized graduate education. Jobs in the banking industry, computers, retail and manufacturing environments, finance, insurance, and real estate are among many possibilities. The program gives you a foundation for entry-level jobs in a variety of business sectors or prepares you for further education in a bachelor's program and even a graduate program in business fields.

Graduation Planning Strategy

The Graduation Planning Strategy (GPS) has been created to illustrate one option to complete degree requirements within a particular time frame. Students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor to adjust this plan based on credit already earned, individual needs or curricular changes that may not be reflected in this year’s catalog.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Completion of Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university. Cumulative minimum GPA of 2.0

For international students

Students must have earned a certificate of completion from a secondary education school that would allow you to attend university in your home country. You should have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level.

You must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and minimum score of English proficiency from one of these tests: TOEFL 61; IELTS: 5.5 with no sub score lower than 5.0; Pearson PTE: 51; Graduation from a United States high school.
