What will I learn?

Our bachelor’s degree allows you to choose from a broad, flexible program that meets personal educational goals and interests, including careers and graduate study in physical or human geography, planning or applied geography.Through our B.A. in Geography and Geospatial Science program, you will receive hands-on, applied learning opportunities in mapping technology, computer mapping techniques, analyzing spatial data from a variety of perspectives and to solve problems from local to global scales.These problems span anything that is map oriented, such as deforestation, climate change, population growth and migration, social inequity, and natural disasters such as droughts, floods, and hurricane impacts. Geographers use many kinds of spatial data to look for patterns and workable solutions to these complex problems.

Applicants must have an official transcript directly from all the high schools.

English Proficiency

TOEFL: minimum of 71.

IELTS: minimum of 6.0

Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 105

Pearson PTE - minimum score 54

iTEP Academic - minimum score of 3.7. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they become complete: Fall - April 1; Spring - October 1.
