Graduate Certificate in School Psychology

USA

6

What will I learn?

The Graduate Certificate in School Psychology is a post-master's certificate designed for those who have completed graduate degrees with "psychology" in the title and who require no more than 15 credit hours of additional specialized training to be prepared to work with children in schools. Students who are interested in School Psychology but have not completed a graduate degree in psychology should simultaneously apply to the 62-hour M.Ed. in Educational Psychology with School Psychology Concentration.

When combined with the M.Ed. in Educational Psychology or a graduate degree with psychology in the title, students may be eligible for licensure/certification as school psychologists depending on their state's requirements. This certificate does not represent licensure or certification in school psychology.
