What will I learn?

Integrated Master’s Program (IMP) provides comprehensive academic support and services in the first term of select graduate programs. IMP students are full degree-seeking students who are issued a degree-seeking I-20. We take any concerns out of the application process and academic journey by providing pre-arrival outreach, airport pickup, dedicated orientation, academic and cultural advising, counseling, out-of-class activities, as well as use of all UAB and INTO UAB on-campus resources, classrooms and facilities.

IMP is available for many of our most popular graduate degrees, with a curriculum focused on both major coursework and building skills for success in graduate work. Three core classes build credit toward your degree, with a fourth class focused on graduate learning in the US, including research documentation techniques, presentation skills and how to navigate the US higher education system.
