A master’s in community health promotion will prepare you for a variety of careers as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). You can work in a variety of public, private and professional settings such as healthcare, school, and community based organizations.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and must present evidence of their qualifications for advanced study.

For international students

Official transcripts from all prior institutions and proof of bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.

Internet-based Test (IBT) TOEFL - Total of 80 or better or the completion of ELS Language Center’s Level 112 is required. The IELTS (with a score of 6.5) may also be accepted in lieu of the TOEFL exam.
