What will I learn?

n collaboration with several other academic units at UW-Milwaukee, SOIS offers students the opportunity to obtain two Master’s degrees concurrently-one in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and one in a subject area. Students applying to the MLIS/MA Coordinated Degree program submit the materials above, and must also meet the admission requirements of the School of Information in the College of Community Engagement & Professions.

Entry requirements

For international students

A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Center on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution.

A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale.
