The Middlebury Institute Master of Arts in International Education Management is designed specifically to help you find a career in the rapidly growing field of international education.
Professional Experience Before You Graduate
We not only expose you to key literature in the field but we give you immersive learning opportunities to gain deeper perspectives of international education and to practice language and intercultural skills. You will work closely with professors and international education organizations on real-world consulting projects, including marketing, recruiting, program design, and assessment.
I have enjoyed working with MIIS students on various strategic projects over the past few years. The Alumni Ambassador Recruitment and Development, Co-Curricular Learning Certificate, and Inquiry Management Strategy projects have been rewarding to Arcadia Abroad and both professionally and personally rewarding for me. I really enjoy mentoring the students and appreciate the opportunity to work with them. I’ve been deeply impressed by the level of professionalism and enthusiasm demonstrated by each and every student.
Careers and Internships
Students gain professional experience through the required practicum and convert these opportunities into full-time offers or leverage the experience to land other jobs.
Our graduates often find employment quickly after graduation—many even have jobs lined up before.
