What will I learn?

In our digital world, the global user experience (UX) market demands skilled professionals who can blend form and function. Earn your STEM-designated Human Centered Design Master’s degree from Pace, and build the skills and experience to craft UX/UI for a variety of in-demand industries, like the latest mobile apps, medical systems software, business interfaces, and games. Pace’s MS in Human Centered Design is built from a solid foundation of core courses aimed to train you in concepts and current practices in the world of user experience and design. A wealth of elective courses enable you to focus on your particular area of interest. Two recommended tracks are available for students who’d like to concentrate in development or design and evaluation.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • A personal statement explaining to the Graduate Admission Committee why you would like to pursue the program of graduate study you have chosen. Additional information regarding your academic performance, as well as professional experience, may also be included in the supplement.
  • A resume or outline describing at least the past five years of your employment history and any significant community, professional, or college extracurricular activities.
  • Two letters of recommendation are optional, but strongly recommended. If you choose to submit letters of recommendation in support of your application, letters should be from academic or professional references who can knowledgeably comment on your ability to successfully complete graduate study. Please note that the Graduate Admission Committee reserves the right to require letters of recommendation on a case-by-case basis.
  • All Official Transcripts: Transcripts from every accredited college or university attended (not just the degree granting institution) must be sent either to Pace University, directly from the academic institution electronically or by mail, or forwarded by the applicant in sealed envelopes from the academic institution.
