The Master of Science in MIS will be a 30 hour, one year, STEM certified program designed to provide students with the necessary technical skills to solve business problems. The program, offered 100% online, is specially positioned toward exposing students to Enterprise Systems (ES) thereby providing them a competitive edge in the global job market. Enterprise Systems allow businesses to achieve high performance through distinctive capabilities and is one of the fastest growing areas of Information Systems. The Enterprise System used in the program will be SAP - the world’s leading producer of business software. SAP has led all ES vendors with the most market share for the last several years. Today, more than 404,000 companies in more than 180 countries run SAP applications. SAP customers include 87% of the Forbes Global 2000 companies, 98% of the 100 most valued brands, and 100% of the Dow Jones top-scoring sustainability companies. Seventy-six percent of the world’s transaction revenue touches an SAP system. The program will also be laden with commercial, in-demand software such as Oracle, Primavera P6, Tableau, Advanced Excel, MS Access, SAS Visual Analytics, and Sales force, which are highly sought in the global market.
