What will I learn?

Stevens is traversing new frontiers in artificial intelligence by offering one of the first graduate programs in the country to explore AI applications for engineering.

In the applied artificial intelligence master’s program, graduate students develop a strong background in the theoretical foundations and algorithm development in artificial intelligence and deep learning with a thorough understanding of a variety of engineering applications. Students will learn a blend of software and hardware skills that are applicable across multiple engineering domains.

Students are immersed in a hands-on approach to learning within a mix of course offerings, from fundamental core courses to state-of-the art topics such as internet of things (IoT), information systems security, and big data applications.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

For international students

Students must have a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, from an accredited institution.

English language proficiency students must score at least 74 on TOEFL iBT, 550 on TOEFL PBT, 6 on IELTS.

Full time Application Deadline: 15th April for Fall; 1st November for Spring. Online Application Deadlines: Fall: August 15; Spring: January 15.
